The Mary Mary songstress who was blasted back in January for explaining that she “accepts and prays for 45 because of his beliefs in “protecting the opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”(WHERE?), recently told The Root ALL about her feelings on Donald Trump.
In between rejoicing over this being the final season of her “WEtv reality show “Mary Mary”, Tina told the publication that she while she “doesn’t agree with a lot of his decisions”, she thinks Cheeto In Chief’s Christian values align with hers which is why she voted for him.
“I was faced with two presidential candidates that I really did not approve of,” said Campbell. “And so I had to find something, a commonality with one of them, that would make me feel like if I have to vote, I should utilize my right to vote. Since I don’t prefer either of them, what can I find that would make me vote? And some of Donald Trump’s views on Christianity, honestly, is what caused me to vote for him.”
Trump’s Christian values? Must be TWO Christianities Tina because p***y grabbin’ ain’t in ours.
“Many of the decisions that he has made afterwards, I have not been in agreement with at all, which I wasn’t in agreement with my last president that I voted for,” she added to The Root. “But however, as a Christian, my perspective is to pray for the president, to not use my social platforms or other platforms to try to destroy this man, because at the end of the day, he still represents the country that I live in.”
Tina also made sure to emphasize that the black church has improperly made a “God” out of the burnt-sienna boy and should depend on the real God for guidance.
“So all the fear that I was hearing in churches everywhere and amongst African-American people, I was like, ‘Man, we’re making a god out of this fellow. We think that our life is going to go to hell in a handbasket if he don’t get it right. And is he our god or is God our god? Are we going to pray for him or are we going to continue to bash him, which don’t help nothing?’

“I don’t make those statements to become politically charged,” she continued. “I have an opinion and I expressed it because I was so disheartened from what I was hearing in churches in our community. So that is literally where that came from. Not a ‘Let me tell everybody how for Donald Trump I am and try to get everybody to be on the Trump train.’ That was not it.
Stop complaining and start praying? That’s truly the “God in her” because ’round these parts……….

Demi Lovato, Lil Uzi Vert, and Playboi Carti have been tapped to take the TRL stage as guest performers for the show’s first week premiere. They are joining the growing roster of other musical acts — including Ed Sheeran, Migos, Noah Cyrus, and PRETTYMUCH — for the daily live show’s first week on air. It was previously announced that the first episode of the show’s revival will feature performances from Migos and Ed Sheeran.
TRL is set to premiere Monday, October 2 and will air live every weekday at 3:30 p.m. The tapings will take place in MTV’s newly renovated Times Square studio, an ode to the original beloved porgram. The hosting duties for this new installment will be rotated between DC Young Fly, Tamara Dhia, Amy Pham, Erik Zachary and Lawrence Jackson, while Liza Koshy and the Dolan Twins will act as content creators. Eva Gutowski, Gabbie Hanna and Gigi Gorgeous will serve as the show’s social media correspondents.
Fans of the original TRL are waiting with bated breath to see if this comeback does the original any justice, and we’ll soon be able to see just that. One thing is for sure, it looks like every hot musical act will be in the TRL studios in the next few weeks, so that’s definitely something to look forward to.

It looks like the RHOA rumors surrounding Eva Marcille are true. As previously reported rumors swirled that the top model would take Porsha Williams’ peach during the 10th season of “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” but that was quickly debunked by Williams herself.
Now Eva’s confirming that she’s indeed joining the show—but not as a replacement.
“I’m so excited to join NeNe [Leakes] and the ladies for the 10th season of RHOA,” the 32-year-old told Us Weekly. “Atlanta and America, get ready!”
Eva will be a “friend” of the cast like Shamea Morton and newly returned Kim Zolciak.
Eva’s been spotted filming with the ladies on their annual cast trip, this time to Spain.
