DJ J Watts Returns to Francis Marion University for Halloween Celebration
Alumnus and Entertainer Extends Special Thanks to FMU President Carter and Campus Activities Board
Florence, SC — DJ J Watts, a 2016 graduate of Francis Marion University, expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Carter, the Campus Activities Board, and the entire FMU community for the opportunity to serve as the official DJ for the university’s annual Halloween Party held on campus Thursday evening.
The high-energy event brought together students, staff, and alumni for a night of celebration, creativity, and campus pride. As a proud FMU alumnus, DJ J Watts described the experience as a full-circle moment — returning to his alma mater not just as a former student, but as an entertainment professional representing his brand, TMMG Entertainment.
“It was an honor to bring the energy back home to FMU,” said DJ J Watts. “Being part of the Halloween event reminded me how much this university means to me. I appreciate President Carter, the Campus Activities Board, and all the students for making the night unforgettable. FMU will always be a special part of my journey.”
The Halloween celebration featured live music, themed décor, and student contests that highlighted FMU’s vibrant campus life. DJ J Watts’s performance capped the evening with a dynamic blend of crowd favorites and creative mixes that had attendees dancing late into the night.
With roots deeply tied to the Florence community, DJ J Watts continues to expand his brand through entertainment, marketing, and community engagement under the TMMG umbrella, including TMMG Agency, TMMG Haulers, TMMG Farms, and TMMG Property Management.
